| Great golf, great courses in Wales | ||||||||||||||||
|
Golf is synonymous with Scotland but here in Wales we have some of the finest courses in the UK. Planning a golfing tour especially for you would be a pleasure for one member of the CHTW team – Huw, who has played many of the 176 golf courses in Wales. If fact, if you are short of a partner, he will probably volunteer to join you. Links or heathland, Wales has the variety and challenge for golfers of all abilities. Such as the Royal Porthcawl, described as being one of the twelve finest courses in the world by the late Tom Scott, former editor of Golf Illustrated. Or Tenby’s Championship Links Course – the oldest course in Wales, Tenby offers tight fairways and fast running greens. Come Home to Wales can arrange a golf tour to test your skills or alternatively, combine other relaxations or sight-seeing activities in an individual itinerary to suit you. So whether you want to play every day, watch, or go separate ways and meet up at the 19th Hole, we can take that in our stride when planning your vacation. We do have an organised golf tour available if you would prefer – more information on which can be found on our Tours page. |
